"2 000 kms on the Qhapac Ñan, the great inca road"

The Qhapac Ñan join since 2001, around  the "Proyecto Qhapac Ñan", Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in an exceptional endeavour designed to restore the trail. This large network of 16.000 kms, which links the main cities and archaeological sites of pre-Hispanic cultures, is still alive today in the dreams of the inhabitants of these Andean countries. UNESCO is preparing to include this inca trail into its world heritage programme by the end of 2007.

"Qhapac Ñan, voices of the Andes : a poetic film along the inca trail"

The film was made along our way through the Inca trail and is presently being edited. We are looking for a television channel which would be willing to finance the finalisation of the film. A 12 minute excerpt of the film is available at :
