Reconnaissance at Tarmatambo, a village located in the ancient confederation of Tarama. This is a traditional rural community which has replaced an ancient urban centre located on the Qhapac Ñan.

June 2006

Eight-day trekking from Cachora to Machu Pichu, via the Inca site of Choquequirao, on the Qhapac Ñan. This includes the crossing of the entire Sierra de Vilcabamba in order to identify the logistical constraints associated with a long trek in the Andes Mountains.

2005 and 2006

Reconnaissance at the sacred valley of the Urubamba and at Trujillo (Peru), at the Titicaca lake (Bolivia) and at Cuenca (Equator).
